The patient was sat on his mother’s lap in the front passenger seat at the time of the collision, during which, a front passenger seat airbag was deployed. The image of a lateral c-spine radiograph shows a fractured dislocation of the C2 verterbra. Please use seatbelts properly and do not carry kids on your lap!
